The latest ITTF world rankings have been released, bringing some interesting shifts in both the men's and women's standings.

One of the biggest talking points among fans was Lin Shidong maintaining his position as world No. 1, despite his recent loss to Wang Chuqin in the WTT Champions Chongqing final. The reason? Wang Chuqin’s 2000 points from Singapore Smash 2024 expired, preventing him from overtaking Lin at the top.

Meanwhile, Tomokazu Harimoto climbed back to No. 3, reclaiming his spot among the world’s elite. Another notable move came from Lin Gaoyuan, who made his way back into the top 10 after recent strong performances.

In the women’s rankings, there were fewer major changes at the top, but Brazil’s Bruna Takahashi made an impressive jump. She climbed three places and is now ranked No. 18, re-entering the top 20.
